Safety and correct use
Height safety equipment must be selected, fitted, inspected and used by competent persons in accordance with the applicable workplace procedures, manufacturer instructions and relevant Australian Standards. Only attachment points identified for fall arrest are to be used for fall arrest. Side positioning points are not fall arrest points. Inspect the harness before and after use and remove it from service if there is any doubt about its condition. A suitable rescue plan must be in place before work at height begins.
